Jurassic Park:
Stan Winston was responsible for creating the live-action dinosaurs used in the creation of Jurassic Park. Winston’s animatronics were combined with CGI by Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) to create the final living dinosaurs seen in the film. This animatronic Velociraptor, combined with CGI, stalked the cast through the visitor’s center at the end of the first film. It measures 5-1/2 feet tall and about 10-1/2 feet long from nose to tip of the tail. Here you see him packed carefully in a crate with supports to help prevent gravity from causing damage.

Invisible Children
Hey guys, let’s just take a moment to think about how lucky we are to live the way we do. We have the comfort of going to sleep every night feeling safe and secure in our houses, we have internet, we have cell phones, or even smart phones! We can call the police whenever there is an emergency. We have support to get an education and we have bright futures.
In central Africa, there is a man named Jospeh Kony who, along with his leading commanders, is abducting children from their homes and forcing them to join his army. Children. With guns. Killing other children. That doesn’t fly with me. The areas that Kony targets are areas with no streets or satellite reception so these abductions or murders can go weeks without being reported and the victims that he has targeted can’t ask for help because it wouldn’t get anywhere in time. It’d be too late. Imagine being 7 years old going to sleep every night praying that, at least for tonight, you won’t be taken away from your family. The only worry a child should have is getting a scraped knee while playing with their friends. No child deserves this. No HUMAN BEING deserves this.
